Hello!

Wow. A new blog. I'm not sure how to start this.

Hi!

I'll start with a little about myself.

I'm a stay-at-home mom of 2 bright little people, a girl and a boy, and wife to a wonderful man. I love cooking, reading, gaming, crafting, watching movies, and going to the beach. I grew up in a large family and loved cooking for them all.

11 years ago I became a vegetarian. About 6 months later I became a vegan. 6 months after that I met my husband and went back to being a vegetarian; not long after that I went back to being an omnivore.

Life just hasn't been the same since I stopped living vegan; I've gained quite a bit of weight and I know I can do better. Several months ago I decided to go back to being a vegetarian. I cut out meat, fish, and poultry and went from there. Along the way I kept reading vegan blogs and sites. On June 25th I went back to being a vegan, and I mean to stay here this time.

I started this blog to help myself and watch my journey through weight loss and veganism and learn from it all. I know there will be many temptations as my husband is still an omni (the children are eating mostly vegan), but I know I can get through it, especially if I document it for myself.

If you're here reading this, welcome. I hope my journey isn't too boring or weird for you, and I will always welcome encouragement and advice. ^_^
